Wedding Limousine service

The question has been popped, and you said yes!

Congratulations, you're getting married!  Now comes the fun and sometimes exhausting part, the planning.

You've got a list of things that need done, picked and prepared.  First on the checklist is usually the dress.  Then you have the venue, food, flowers, guests, cake, and the list goes on and on.

Surprisingly, the one aspect that gets overlooked is transportation.  This can be a key factor in having a smooth wedding day.  You may opt for a single limousine for the entire bridal party, both gals and guys, or having seperate limos.

The choreography of your wedding is simplified if those involved are kept together until the reception.  There's no delay on any aspect of the wedding, including the ceremony and pictures.
There are many different styles of limousines.  Take the time to choose the one that fits your day perfectly.  Type, size and capacity are the 3 key factors in choosing the right limousine for your occasion.

My last bit of information is to reserve your transportation sooner than later.  Limousine companies book quick and you don't want to be left stranded.

When you rent a limousine, it is always a fantastic way to get around. Limousines can be used as transportation for weddings, bachelor and bachelorette parties and other events. Having the time of your life in a limo will definitely make those events into some really fun memories. Limos are a great way to  transport family or friends to events, no matter what the occasion. There is always a need for a limo.

What style limousine is best for your occasion?

Limousines come in all shapes and sizes.  There are many factors that can help you decide which one best suits your needs.  Take the number of people that need accommodated, the type of event you will be attending and of course, the look you're going for.  Taking all circumstances into consideration can make your limousine experience unforgettable.
Picture
Here are the most common styles of limousines, along with the pros and cons of each.
Picture
Luxury Sedan - The sedan is perfect for point to point travel.  Sedans are ideal for 1-3 passengers.  These vehicles usually service airport transfers, corporate travel, transporting a bride and groom to their hotel after the reception, or just getting from point A to point B.  They usually have adequate trunk space for luggage or belongings that you need transported with you.  The sedan also comes into play if you only have 2 persons needing service for an outing.  Maybe you want to take a special someone out on the town for the night and would like to partake in some of the festivities, no worries of driving involved.  One thing to keep in mind when it comes to the sedan is privacy.  Or lack there of.  Sedans are not usually equipped with a privacy window.  This means the chauffeur can hear and see all that goes on in the passenger area.  The rate on a sedan is much cheaper than other vehicles for the obvious reason, it's size.

Picture
SUV - As with the sedan, the SUV is great for point to point travel along with events.  They can seat 1-7 passenger if equipped with third row seating.  Keep in mind, the third row seat will infringe on the storage space available in the cargo area.  These can service everything a sedan can while accommodating more people.  Whether you and a few friends are attending a tailgating event, you have clients flying in from out of town, or perhaps you just are headed out for a night on the town, the SUV provides a spacious, affordable ride.  The SUV rates are slightly higher than those on a sedan due to the size and capacity of the vehicle.

Picture
Stretched Limousine - The stretched limo is good for all occasions.  The most popular makes are the  Lincoln Continental and Chrysler 300. Some coach builders have introduced the Dodge Charger, Dodge Challenger, Chevrolet Camaro, Bentley and a few exotics.  Top passenger capacity in these limousines is usually 10.  Once you hit this tier in transportation service, you get pure luxury along with all the bells and whistles.  These limos are equipped with televisions, fiber optic lighting, custom interior, bars and more.  You will not go unnoticed pulling up to your event in a stretched limousine.  They provide more than enough space for passengers, however, you are limited to the trunk space for storage of any kind.  So, if you are planning on hitting up a local sporting event or concert to tailgate, what you would like to take along might not fit.  Stretched Limousines are perfect for weddings, bachelor/bachelorette parties, birthdays, establishment hopping and any event that won't require storage of large items.  The stretches are a bit more pricey than the sedan and SUV and usually require a minimum service time.  Be prepared to spend around $125 per hour on these limousines.

Picture
Stretched SUV - The stretched SUV can be a Ford Excursion, Lincoln Navigator, Hummer, Cadillac Escalade, Chevrolet Tahoe and more. This limousine is very similar to the stretch sedan.  The biggest difference is the passenger capacity.  These limousines can hold well over 10 people, some with seating to accommodate up to 26 passengers.  You can most definitely fit an entire bridal party in the stretched SUV.  As well as all of your friends you invite to a bachelor/bachelorette party, sporting event, concert, or just a night on the town.  The storage space in these limousines is very limited.  There is usually a VIP section in place of where the cargo area is located in a SUV.  Unless there is a hitch rack for coolers and gear, be prepared to give up seat space to these items.  Keep this in mind if you are set on reserving one of these for your event.  These vehicles have the best height clearance if you are planning a trip off smooth paved roads.  Maybe you gather friends and family to go on a haunted hay ride, a wine tour, or an event that doesn't offer paved parking, this is the limousine for you.  The rate on the stretched SUV is probably the priciest.

Picture
Party Bus - The party bus is by far one of my favorite limousines.  These can hold in upwards of 30 or more passengers.  Some party buses even come equipped with a restroom which can come in handy if you're tailgating.  They also have storage in the rear for any gear you need to transport with you.  Out of all the styles of limousines, the interior in these provides the most room in all aspects of passenger comfortibility.  Being able to stand and move around can be quite helpful.  Long trips are also a breeze in these vehicles.  There isn't a service that this vehicle can't handle with extreme ease and accesibility.  Rates on the party bus can fluctuate tremendously depending on many factors.  The two main factors that determine the rate are size and features of the bus.

So, to sum it up, no matter what your occasion, there is a limousine built to fit your needs.  Make sure to cover all aspects when reserving a limo with the company you choose.

The holiday season is right around the corner and you know what that means - PARTIES!

The holiday months will be filled with delicious drinks, festive food and dancing.  Whether these events are personal or professional, everyone wants to get to and from them safe and sound.
With Cranberry Limo's luxurious and affordable packages, you, your family, friends, clients and co-workers can enjoy a comfortable and safe journey.  Nobody wants to be late to any of their holiday parties and events, but everyone wants to arrive in style without the worry of driving.

Picture
The TOP reason to hire a car service for the holiday season is:
Drunk Driving
DUI arrests have gone up over 43% over the past year.  State and local police are becoming more aware of the signs of an impaired driver.  One out of every 3 car accidents involves a driver under the influence.  The fine alone for a DUI can be as much as $5000.  I can think of a lot better ways to spend that kind of money.
The following are additional reasons to hire Cranberry Limousine this holiday season:

  • Shopping – nobody likes to shop alone.  It is a much more enjoyable experience with friends and family.  Why not load everyone up, get door to door service, and help carrying all those bags!
  • Treat yourself – it’s the holidays so why not treat yourself and family to a comfortable, luxurious ride in style to a Pittsburgh Penguins game, holiday lighting event, or that big Christmas party across town. The back seat of a limo is like a little vacation from all your holiday stresses.
  • Cold weather – I don't know about you, but cocktail dresses weren't made for PA winter weather.  How nice would it be to get dropped right at the door of your destination in a toasty limo, and leave the same way!
  • Enjoy the party – your company is throwing a big holiday party with an open bar.  Why not celebrate and not worry about having to drive home.
  • On-time arrival and pick up – nobody wants to arrive late to a party because they are waiting on a friend or family member to come pick them up.  And you definitely don't want to have to leave before your ready.
  • Why not - there is no rule that says you need a reason.

Whether you are going out for one night with loved ones, or need a chauffeuring solution for your company during the entire holiday season, Cranberry Limo will transport you, your clients, or family members to and from your destinations safely and in the style and comfort you all deserve.

People of all ages love this time of year.  Crisp fall weather, bonfires, hay rides, pumpkins and of course Halloween.

I have compiled a list of different day and night activities available in the area.

  • Cheeseman Fright Night - With over 100 acres, this is a great event for all ages.  Haunted hay ride, corn maze and multiple walk through attractions.

  • Hundred Acre Manor - Ranked as one of America's best haunted houses.  Featuring 6 amazing attractions with 2 escape rooms.  Sure to spook the coolest kid.

  • Haunted Expedition - Start off with a hay ride that drops you off to walk through a cornfield, orchard and structures in between.  They change their theme every year, so the experience is new each time.

  • Zombies of the Corn - Three Rivers Paint Ball takes on a whole new look this time of year.  Offering wagon rides, a zombie compound, zombie shoot, ghost stories and bonfires.  Interactive fun for everyone.

  • Haunted Hills Hayride and the Valley of Darkness - 2 attractions at the same location.  Enjoy a spooktacular hayride or walk through the valley of darkness.  Get a discount on tickets if you attend both.

  • Hell's Hollow Haunt - Legend has it a murder of an Indian, Harthegig, occurred here.  Enter the 3 levels of the bloody barn, go for a ride on the haunted hay wagon of horror and explore the frightening field of corn.

  • Scarehouse - This place has been mentioned in multiple publications as one of the best.  The artists who perform here actually work all year long in the building.  Definitely worth a look.

  • Imaginarium - Put a twist on the haunted.  This is an exclusive escape room.  Great for fun while building team skills.  Work together to look for clues and solve puzzles.  Don't hesitate, you never know what awaits.

There is no occasion too big or too small for limousine service.  You can take the simplest occasion and make it more memorable by renting a limo.
  • Wedding - This is usually the first reason that comes to mind when thinking of limo service.  Why shouldn't it be.  This is a very special day.
  • Bachelor/Bachelorette Parties - In almost every case, limos are a safe bet here.  These events usually entail drinking.  A designated driver is always a plus so everyone can enjoy their evening.
  • Anniversaries - Relive that wedding day to the fullest.  Pamper yourselves the way you did on the day you wed.
  • Birthdays - Young or old, who doesn't like to ride in a limo on their special day of the year?  This is the icing on the cake for surprise parties!
  • Concerts - A lot of the time we gather our friends to go to concerts.  Start the party early on the ride to the venue.
  • Sporting Events - Who doesn't love to go support their local team?  A lot of limo companies have designated tailgate party bus that can be packed with grills, corn hole, tables and coolers.
  • Airport Transport - Maybe you have a very special client coming in from out of town, show them you mean business by picking them up in style.
  • Night on the Town - Getting together with friends for no reason other than to hang out.  Leave the driving to a limo company and keep the party going between stops.
  • Prom/Homecoming - What better way to arrive at your school function than in a limo.  You will be the talk of the school come Monday morning.

Limousine service can be used for all these occasions and more.  Get creative and make memories to last.

Questions parents should ask when renting a limo for homecoming

9/21/2016

Before reserving a limousine for your child's homecoming, there are a few things you should be aware of.
  1. Is a chaperone required for the service?  The limousine company will be transporting minors and may have requirements to do so.  Whether it be a chaperone, signed waiver or other requirement.
  2. Is the service needed for round trip transportation to homecoming?  Sometimes the venue that homecoming is being held at isn't very close to the home location.  Will the minors need a ride home after?
  3. Change in itinerary.  Will the minors be allowed to make any detours to itinerary during the service.  Stopping at a store, for pictures, or anything else that might arise.
  4. Notification of arrival to destination.  Let's face it, the kids are thinking of enjoying their homecoming, not calling mom and dad to know they arrived.
  5. How many pick up locations are included.  Most limousine companies will pick up at as many locations as you would like.  One thing to remember is that this can really cut into your service time.

Detailed planning is the sure way to make an enjoyable experience for your children's homecoming.
